Lon A. Scott

Lon Allen Scott was an American politician and a member of the United States House of Representatives for the 8th congressional district of Tennessee.

Scott was born on September 25, 1888 on a farm near Cypress Inn in Wayne County, Tennessee. He moved with his parents to Savannah, Tennessee in Hardin County. He attended the public schools and Savannah Institute. He graduated from the law department of Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee in 1915.
